Gloria Nemyo Rebovich of Perth Amboy passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division. She was 94 years old.

She was born in, and a lifelong resident of, Perth Amboy; and graduate of Perth Amboy High School.

Mrs. Rebovich was employed by The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission in Woodbridge and Elizabeth as a clerk for 25 years before retiring in 1990.

She was a lifelong member of Saint Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church.

As a wife, mother of three boys, and civic-minded resident, Mrs. Rebovich's contributions are sewn into the fabric of Perth Amboy. Her dedication to community involvement and volunteerism spans her whole life. Her works included the Woman's Club, American Red Cross, Proprietary House Association, Kearny Cottage Historical Association, the Royal Garden Club of Perth Amboy, League of Women Voters, Perth Amboy High School Hall of Fame Committee and Raritan Bay Medical Center.

She was predeceased by her husband, George Rebovich, Sr., in 2008; son, David P. Rebovich, PhD., in 2007; sister, Anna Hayko; and brothers, Paul, Carl, Michael and Joseph Nemyo.

Surving are her sons and their wives, George Rebovich, Sr. and Nadine Sedor Rebovich of Acton, MA and Kurt Rebovich and Lisa Harrison Rebovich of Perth Amboy; sister, Georgiana Cuntala of Fords; grandchildren, Gayle, Samantha, Melissa and Kurt, Jr.; and great grandson, Alexander George.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 13, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. from the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge followed at 10:00 a.m. with a Funeral Liturgy at Saint Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Perth Amboy. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery in Perth Amboy. Visiting will be on Sunday from1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Parastas services at 4:45 p.m.
