Gilman Thomas Kutcher, Jr. passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. He was 81 years old.
Born in Rahway, he resided in Woodbridge and Fords all of his life.
Mr. Kutcher was a graduate of Woodbridge High School, and served in the United States Navy from 1964 until 1966.
He was employed in the accounting department at Amerada Hess Corporation and Chevron Oil Company; and then as a driver for A-1 Limousine Company before retiring.
Mr. Kutcher was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen and a longtime member of the choir at the Church; a 50 year member and past president of the Woodbridge Lions Club; and a member of T. Nulty Post #471, American Legion, Iselin.
He was predeceased by his parents Gilman T. Kutcher, Sr. and Theresa Peterson Kutcher.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Mildred A. Lorsong Kutcher; sons, Scott Kutcher and his wife, Danielle, of Fords; and Todd Kutcher and his wife, Karen, of Howell; sister, Sallyann Lunn, of Arizona; brothers, William Kutcher of Delaware, and Kevin Kutcher, of Moorestown; brother-in-law, Ernest Andrascik, of Woodbridge; grandchildren Todd Jr., Jake, Olivia, Matthew, and Nicholas; many loving nieces and nephews, and his brother-in-spirit Ray Orriss of Iselin.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, January 4, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.
Visiting hours will be on Monday, January 3, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Mr. Kutcher's memory to the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen Food Pantry, 270 Woodbridge Avenue, Metuchen, NJ 08840.
