Georgios K. Sevdalis of Karpathos passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, New Brunswick. He was 62 years old. Born in Karpathos, Greece; He resided in Platyolo. He was a Chef retiring from the Bethlehem Diner in 2010. He was predeceased by his father Konstantinos Sevdalis; and a brother Nikolaos Sevdalis. He is survived by his mother Kaliope Vitoroulis Sevdalis; one brother Emmanuel Sevdalis of Karpathos, Greece, two sisters Anna Sakellakis of Athens, Greece, and Maria Athineos of South Amboy; five nieces and seven nephews; and thirteen Great nieces and nephews. A Visitation will take place on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private.
