George T. Zweidinger, Jr. passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. He was 46 years old. Born in Perth Amboy, he was raised in Matawan and has resided in Rahway for the past 16 years. Mr. Zweidinger was employed as a line operator with Loreal Corporation in Clark for many years. He was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel and belonged to Clark American Legion. Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Kimberly Piasta Zweidinger; two daughters, Alexis and Makenzie Zweidinger; a son, Brandon Zweidinger; his parents, Joyce and George T. Zweidinger, Sr., of Keyport; a sister, Carolyn Ross, of Aberdeen; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel. Cremation will be private. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 2:00 until 4:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge.
