George W. Goldsmith passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 86.

Mr. Goldsmith was born in Staten Island, NY, and resided in Woodbridge before moving to the Colonia Section of Woodbridge Township.

Mr. Goldsmith was employed as a Warehouse manager for many years until his retirement, and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Avenel.

He was predeceased by two daughters Stacy Beebe, and Sherri Beebe.

Surviving are his son Steven Beebe, of Linden, NJ; a daughter Susan Beebe, of Florida; a granddaughter Alexaraye Gaffney; two grandsons Eric T. Mawer, and Shane Gaffney.

Visitation will be on Monday January 25, 2016 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home ( www.costello-greiner.com ), 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
