Gene Michael Lesnick, Jr. passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at his home in South Amboy. He was 68 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy, he resided in Avenel before moving to South Amboy 10 years ago.

Mr. Lesnick was employed as a Truck Driver with Coca Cola, Twin County Grocers and MAS trucking for the past 45 years; and was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was predeceased by his parents, Gene and Elizabeth Toth Lesnick; and brother, Gary Lesnick.

Surviving are his daughters, Lisa A. O'Donnell and her husband, Keith, of Keyport and Tiffany A. Lesnick and her husband, Mark Hinkeldey, of Colonia; son, Gene Michael Lesnick, III and his wife, Tara, of Brick; brother, Alan Protzo, of the Philippines; and grandchildren, Kelli, Larissa, Shannon, William and Lilliana.

Visiting hours will be on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Graveside funeral services will take place on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Memorial Park, Arneytown, NJ.
