Gary William Fleming passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Abode Care of Allentown, PA. He was 80 years old.

Born in Los Angeles, CA on May 5, 1945 to the late Phyllis and John Fleming, he has resided in Metuchen for the last 30 years.

Mr. Fleming has worked for many years in the construction management and consulting industry. Starting out in the material handling equipment industry; he then founded G William Group LLC in 2003 and Construction  Consulting in 2020.

He was a man of varied interests, including reading, listening to music and running. Gary also enjoyed spending time swimming, barbecuing and hiking at Mountain Lake; and a great meal out with friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fleming was predeceased by his brothers, Richard Fleming and John Fleming; and niece, Melissa Barletta.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 57 years, Theresa Barletta Fleming; brothers in law, Peter Barletta and his wife, Maryann and Frank Barletta and his wife, Linda; niece, Jennifer and her husband, Joel; nephew, Matthew and his wife, Molly and nephew, Frank, Jr.; and great nephews, Alexander and Benjamin.

Visiting for family and friends will be on Sunday, March 8, 2026 beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
