Gary R. Bednarz of Perth Amboy passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at home. He was 53 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy, He resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township moving to Perth Amboy 30 years ago.

Mr. Bednarz was a Heavy Equipment Operator with Raritan Steel in Perth Amboy.

He is survived by his parents Edward and Maureen Bone Bednarz; four brothers Dean Bednarz of Avenel, Dale Bednarz and his wife Gloria of Beachwood, Wayne Bednarz and his wife Sharon of Colonia, and Scott Bednarz and his wife Sharon of Glen Gardner; a niece Andrea DeVecka; six nephews Ryan, Dylan, Matthew, Kyle, Michael, and Brian; his companion Sharon Altman; and his Rottweiler Sadie.

A Visitation will take place on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home ( www.Costello-koyen.Com ) 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A service will be held at 3:45 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
