Garnet R. Pisano passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Brighton Gardens Assisted Living in Edison. She was 87 years old.

Born in Bradford, PA, she resided in Jersey City before moving to the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township 46 years ago.

She was employed as a Registered Nurse at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy during the 1980's and then as a proof reader for the Atom Tabloid in Rahway before retiring.

Mrs. Pisano was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel and a devoted member of the choir at the church.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony A. Pisano, in 2007.

Surviving is her son, Frank Pisano, of Avenel.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 8:45 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home ( www.costello-koyen.com ), 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
