Gail P. Polcha of the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway.  She was 75 years old.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ; She resided Elizabeth, Colonia, and Woodbridge before moving to Port Reading over 20 years ago.

Mrs. Polcha was employed at The Galaxy Diner in Rahway and as a School Bus Aid with The Woodbridge Township Board of Education for 10 years before retiring.

She was a Communicant of St. Andrew's R.C. Church in Avenel and a member of the Altar-Rosary Society at the church and she loved to knit and crochet

She was predeceased by her parents James D. and Ida Miller Moynihan.

Surviving are her husband of 45 years John W. Polcha; her daughter Zelda; her son William A. White and his wife Dianna of Sarasota, Florida; her grandchildren Zachary Hasselbrink and Tanner Hasselbrink; and her great-grandson Zachary Tyler Hasselbrink, Jr.

Funeral will take place Friday, September 15, 2023 10:00 am from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel.  A 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Andrew's R.C. Church.  Cremation will be private.

Visiting hours will be Thursday September 14, 2023 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
