Gail A. May of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital at Rahway. She was 60 years old. Born in Jersey City, NJ; She resided in Iselin and Linden before moving to Avenel 27 years ago. Mrs. May was a Customer Service Representative with Verizon for 30 years retiring seven years ago. She was predeceased by her father John Metzger. Surviving are her husband Laurence H. May; her mother June Metzger of Old Bridge; a sister Elaine Adams of Somerset; a brother Jack Metzger of Lincroft; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral will take place Saturday 9:45 a.m. at The Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Interment will be in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.
