Frank J. Genna passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. He was 79 years old.

Born on October 30, 1946 in Newark to the late Genevieve and Frank Genna, he has resided in Woodbridge for 33 years.

Mr. Genna was employed as a programmer with Performance Food Group in Elizabeth for 21 years before his retirement in 2007.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his daughter, Deana DeMone, in 2023.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 44 years, Connie Ferreri Genna; grandson, Tony Genna; son in law, Matthew DeMone; sisters, Nancy Truncale and Janet Grundel, both of Whiting; sisters in law, Peggy Bilinszky and Nancy Ferreri; brother in law, Bill Ferreri and his wife, Eileen; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were private under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) in Mr. Genna's memory would be greatly appreciated by his loved ones.
