Frank Theodore Francisco passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Complete Care at Green Knoll in Bridgewater.  He was 83 years old.

Born in Jersey City, he resided in the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township for 35 years, and more recently in Iselin, NJ and in Watchung, NJ.

He enjoyed a nearly 50 year career with Western Electric/AT&T and later with Tycom; he worked in Fairlawn, NJ, Kearney, NJ, Allentown, PA and Clark, NJ; he was a communicant of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic church in Port Reading; he loved the outdoors and camping and was an avid baseball fan; he drove thousands of miles attending all the school, church, community, and sporting events of his 5 children and 14 grandchildren over nearly 60 nears.  He was a loving father and proud grandfather.

Mr. Francisco was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Eileen Francisco; a stepfather, Harvey Hunt; a daughter, Darlene Matthews; and his ex-wife Helen E. Francisco.

Surviving are his children, Cynthia Malovetz of Philadelphia, Ted Francisco of Chadwick Island and his wife Diana, Kevin Francisco of Dunellen and his wife Jessie, Valerie Gargano of Watchung, and son-in-law Rick Matthews of Port Reading; brother David Francisco of Wycoff and his wife Maryjane; 14 grandchildren Dustin Malovetz, Blake Malovetz and his wife Christine, Chelsea Barreras and her husband Mike, Tyler Malovetz and his wife Mayu, Bradley Francisco and his wife Jen, Corey Francisco and his fiancé Brittney, Nick Francisco and his fiancé Meghan, Luke Francisco and his wife Catherine, Tim Francisco, Jillian Gargano, Elliott Gargano, Andrew Matthews, Carly Matthews and Eric Matthews; and 8 great grandchildren Logan, Lucy, Grace, Matthew, Nico, Malcom, Arthur, and Peter.

Funeral Services will take place Thursday, June 2, 2022 9:00 AM from the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (Costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A 9:30 AM Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church 436 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading.  Entombment will be at Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
