Francisco Castro passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 84 years old.

Born on October 4, 1933 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, he has lived in Woodbridge since 1966.

Mr. Castro proudly served in the United States Army from 1953 until 1955; and belonged to Post 4410, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Woodbridge and Post 45, American Legion, Perth Amboy.

Frank was predeceased by his wives, Carmen Castro in 2002 and Haydee Montanez Castro in 2014.

Surviving are his sons, Francisco Castro, Jr. of Sayreville and Danny Castro of New York, NY; four grandchildren; and a great grandson.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday evening, September 13, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4410, 393 Pearl Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 in Frank's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
