Francis P. Bobal passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. He was 91 years old.

Born on October 4, 1931 in Perth Amboy to the late Mary and George Bobal he resided in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township for most of his life.

Mr. Bobal was a United States Army Veteran serving as Corporal during the Korean War.

Mr. Bobal was employed as a sales representative with Water Care Corporation of Manitowac, WI for 30 years prior to his retirement.

He was a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge, where he was a graduate of their first class of Eucharistic Ministers; and belonged to the Woodbridge Rotary Club and Middlesex Council 857, Knights of Columbus, Woodbridge.

In addition to his parents Mr. Bobal was predeceased by his wife, Miriam, in 2020; brother, George Bobal; and sister in law, Gloria Bobal.

Surviving are his children, Jean Cordes of Danbury, CT, Eric Bobal and his wife, Patricia, of Macungie, PA and Thomas Bobal and his wife, Barbara, of Hamilton; sisters in law, Sister Helen Neder, Sisters of Mercy and Barbara Neder; grandchildren, Kevin and his wife, Marr, Gregory, Emily, David, Jaclyn and Jake; and great granddaughter, Audriena.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated for Mr. Bobal on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge. Entombment will follow in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum, Woodbridge.
