Francesca "Frances" LaBruno Barletta passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014 at the NJ Veterans Home at Menlo Park in Edison. She was 94 years old. Born in New York City, she has resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township since 1960. Mrs. Barletta was employed with One Stop Cleaners in Rahway for 21 years until 1986. She was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel. Mrs. Barletta was predeceased by her husband, Frank A. Barletta, in 1997; her sister, Theresa Vlatkowski; and her brothers, Joseph, Anthony, James and Patsy. Surviving are a daughter, Theresa P. Fleming and her husband, Gary, of Metuchen; two sons, Peter F. Barletta and his wife, Maryann, of Colonia and Frank R. Barletta and his wife, Linda, of East Brunswick; and five grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Melissa, Frank and Joel. Funeral services will take place on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (www.costello-koyen.com), 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Interment will be in Brigadier General W.C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, North Hanover Township. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
