Florence Green passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Roosevelt Care Center, Edison. She was 85 years old. Born in Perth Amboy, she resided in Florida before returning to New Jersey where she lived most of her life. Mrs. Green was predeceased by her first husband William Kanowitz who passed away in 1977 and her second husband, Joseph Green, in 2004. She is survived by her son, Al Kanowitz, of Carteret; and two grandchildren, James and Jennifer Kanowitz. Funeral services were private under the direction of the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.
