Florence “Sissy” Danzi passed away on Saturday July 11, 2026, at Trustbridge Hospice in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. She was 71 years old.

Born in Hoboken, NJ on April 19, 1955, to the late Phillip and Ruby Bassin. Florence resided in Secaucus, NJ and Patchogue, NY before moving to West Palm Beach, FL 13 years ago.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Raymond Messina, and youngest brother, Warren Bassin.

Surviving are her husband of 21 years, Salvatore Danzi; children: Raymond Messina, his wife, Justine, and children: Leonidas, Roman and Ophelia. Teresa Cotto, her husband, Fernando, and children: Gianna and Elena. Margaret Sheils, her husband, Patrick, and children: Patrick Ryan and Ava Marie. Angelique Kofman, her husband, Max, and children: Alexa and Phoebe. Her sister, Barbara Scott and husband, John; brothers, Richard Bassin and his wife, Elizabeth and Phillip Bassin, Jr. and his wife, Geri. She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will cherish her memory always.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 9:15 a.m. Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street Woodbridge, NJ 07095, beginning at the Funeral Home, followed by a 10:00am service at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 28 South Fourth Street Fords, NJ 08863. Interment will proceed with the service at Flower Hill Cemetery in North Bergen.
