Evan D. Ketzenberg, 88, of Red Bank, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 20.

Born in the Bronx in 1935, Evan graduated from Woodbridge High School in 1953.  He briefly studied at Union Junior College, served in the US Army for two years, then attended and graduated from Bryant College in Providence, RI.

After a brief corporate job, he joined Ketzenberg & Org., his family HVAC business in 1958, becoming owner in 1970 until he retired.

He married his high school sweetheart, Connie Kline.  After raising their children, they moved from Colonia to Red Bank, NJ where they enjoyed sailing and socializing.  After she passed away, he settled in Shadow Lake Village and married Denise Segall, from Johannesburg. He was delighted to be part of her close-knit family.

Evan enjoyed traveling, sailing, fine dining, golfing, and watching the Yankees.  He also loved playing poker, mentoring his children, and discussing politics.  He was a Freemason of the Lafayette Lodge in Rahway, NJ for 65 years.

His mother Frances and father George of Brownsville, TX, his wife of 36 years, Connie, his wife of 10 years, Denise all predeceased him.  His daughter Laurie (Matt Cohen) and son Michael, stepsons, Warren (Cara), from Red Bank, Terry (Bonnie), from Los Angeles, Howard, from Johannesburg, step grandchildren Aiden, Ella, and Shai, as well as many wonderful cousins, in-laws, and friends survive him.

Graveside Service will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Gill Lane, Woodbridge, NJ

at 12:30 on Friday, March 22.  Luncheon memorial afterwards at Lafayette Lodge, 1550 Irving St, Rahway, NJ
