Eva Lorraine
Stutzman
October 3, 1948 — July 18, 2024
Port Reading
Eva Lorraine Stutzman passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division. She was 75 years old.
Born in Newark on October 3, 1948 to Ralph and Angelina (Mitrione) Latshaw, Lorraine resided in the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township since 1955.
She was employed as an account executive with the International Crating and Container Company in Elizabeth for several years prior to leaving the workforce to begin her family.
Lorraine enjoyed gardening, boating, crafting, and spending time with family and friends. She would happily accompany her family on whatever activity they had planned. She'd never turn down a car ride, a "snack run" with her grandson, a local street fair, or time sitting on the beach. She'd go anywhere you wanted to go. She especially enjoyed activities on the water, including crabbing, sightseeing cruises, and tubing trips along the Delaware River.
Lorraine was always up for a spontaneous vacation or road trip as well, consistently overpacking for such family trips including the Outer Banks, Sanibel Island, and Pittsburgh.
In addition to her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by her beloved husband Paul J. Stutzman, in December of 2017.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Stacie Lynn and her husband Jim Mlodgenski, as well as grandson Paul (Paulie) J. Mlodgenski. She is survived by brothers Robert Latshaw and Ralph Latshaw, junior; and predeceased by her sister Michelle. Lorraine is also survived by her dearest friend since the age of 7, Dottie Tierney Wiewiorski.
Visitation for family and friends will take place on Friday, July 26, 2020 from 3:00 until 7:00 at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.
