Eugenia Tsoukatos passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Overlook Medical Center in Summit. She was 82 years old.

Born in Greece, she has resided in Perth Amboy since 1965.

Mrs. Tsoukatos was employed as a seamstress for many years.

She was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Perth Amboy.

Mrs. Tsoukatos was predeceased by a brother, George Panagos.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years Steve Tsoukatos; two daughters, Irene Tsoukatos-Cohen of Scotch Plains and Andrea Tsoukatos of Perth Amboy; a son, Theodore Tsoukatos, of Toms River; a sister, Maxine Kleris, of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, Nick Panagos of Woodbridge, Mike Panagos of Greece and Steve Panagos of Lindenwold; and two grandchildren, Daniella and Steven Cohen.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at  9:00 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A Liturgy will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Sadowski Parkway, Perth Amboy. Interment will be in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy. Visiting hours will Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.
