Eugene Raymond McGeough passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 in North Las Vegas, NV. He was 86 years old.

Born in Ohio, he was raised in Gilberton, PA and has resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township for 50 years.

Mr. McGeough was employed as a lab assistant with Merck & Co. in Rahway for many years before retiring in 1998.

He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War; belonged to Rahway Post No. 5, American Legion; and was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel.

Mr. McGeough was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie Ruddy McGeough, in 2014; and son, Leonard McGeough.

He is survived by his son, Michael McGeough, of North Las Vegas, NV.

Visiting hours will be on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (costello-koyen.com), 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home, a Mass of Resurrection will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
