Eric H. Hameier passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Hospice and Community Care Center in Mount Joy, PA. He was 76 years old. Born in Rahway, NJ, he resided in Woodbridge, NJ for most of his life before moving to York, PA 8 years ago. Mr. Hameier owned and operated Eric Hameier Painting in Woodbridge for many years until retiring in 1981. He was a member of Trinity Epicopal Church in Woodbridge. Mr. Hameier was predceased by his wife, Jean Wells Hameier in 2000; his parents, Eric and Margaret Hagadorn Hameier; and a sister, Janet Thompson. He is survived by two daughters Kim Skodmin and her husband, Troy, of Jackson, NJ and Erica Emrich and her husband, Frank, of Crewe, VA; two sons, David Hameier and his wife, Donna, of Somerset, NJ and Kurt Hameier of York, PA; four sisters, Nancy Russell of Basking Ridge, NJ, Patricia Adomilli of Teaneck, NJ, Ellen Sides of New Hope, PA and Sharon Allen of Rahway; nine granchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge, NJ. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, Woodbridge, NJ. Intemrnet will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
