Emma Bush passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2015. She was 84 years old. Born in Dutchess County NY, she lived most of her life in Maspeth, NY and Albrightsville, PA.; she most recently resided in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Emma was a wonderful wife and loving mother. Her life was devoted to her family and her church, beginning with the Maspeth United Methodist church and later the Effort United Methodist Church. She and her husband August were generous supporters of both houses of Worship. Many people looked forward to her hugs and Kisses. She will be sorely missed by all here on earth and happily welcomed by all in heaven. She was sweet, she was giving, and she was love!!! Mrs. Bush was predeceased by her parents, Charles Dowdle and Emma Rensch. She is survived by her loving husband, August Bush, a son and daughter in law, Gary and Melita Bush of West Warwick, RI, a daughter and son in law, Donna and Robert Dabrowski of Avenel, NJ, and four grandchildren, James and his wife Keisha, Michael, Matthew, and Steven, and a great grandson, Kristopher. Services will be 6:30 p.m. Cremation will take place privately. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge, NJ.
