Elizabeth A. Roth passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at JFKMC in Edison. She was 81 years old.

Born in Yardville, NJ, Elizabeth A. was the daughter of the Late Reverend David L. and Mrs. Elizabeth G. Coddington.

Mrs. Roth resided in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township for over 60 years.

When not busy raising her own five children she was very involved with the Avenel Presbyterian Church of Avenel. Mrs. Roth was a Sunday School Teacher for over 15 years, touching the lives of so many community children. Many hours of her time were spent volunteering with Kitchen Angels, coordinating the Annual Fair and Strawberry Festivals. She was also a strong member of their Women's Group.

Mrs. Roth was employed outside the home for many years as a salesperson with Macys in Menlo Park and Wellworth Store in Colonia.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Roth, in 2012; and sons Robert J. Roth in 2007 and David L. Roth in 2016.

Surviving are children, Anna Bertothy of Wolcott, CT, Elizabeth Barto of Bayville, and Timothy Roth of Fords; a sister Laurie Barriere, of Colorado Springs, CO and a brother, Dick Coddington, of Sneads Ferry, NC, along with twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are private under the directions of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.

In lieu of flowers contributions to the First Presbyterian Church of Avenel in Mrs. Roth's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
