Elizabeth Pricz passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Summerhill Nursing Home in Old Bridge. She was 96 years old.

Born in Brownsville, PA, she resided in Woodbridge before moving to Maple Tree Manor in Avenel 14 years ago.

Mrs. Pricz was employed in the service department of Montgomery Ward in Edison for many years.

She was a founding member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Woodbridge and currently a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel.

Mrs. Pricz was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Pricz, in 1993; a daughter, Priscilla Wierbowski, in 2013; and two brothers Andrew Pogany and Albert "Joe" Pogany.

Surviving are a son, Peter Pricz and his wife Theresa, of Ocala, FL; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Wierbowski, of Warrington, PA; a son-in-law John Wierbowski of Washington, NJ; a sister Margaret Pankulics of Hillsborough, NJ; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel. Cremation will be at Rosehill Crematory, Linden. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2:00 until 4:00 and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
