Elizabeth Hollenback passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 89 years old.

Born on October 14, 1931 in Orava, Slovakia, she resided in Perth Amboy, Woodbridge and Avenel before recently moving to Iselin.

Mrs. Hollenback was employed as a school crossing guard for many years at the corner of School and Green Streets in Woodbridge.

She was very proud of her United States citizenship; a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge; and enjoyed cooking, sewing and trips to Atlantic City.

She was predeceased by her husband, Russell D. Hollenback, in 2012.

Surviving are her daughters, Gloria Moscarelli and her husband, Bob, of Iselin and Ginny Bonicker of Woodbridge; sister, Elaine Schwalje, of Somerset; brother, Fred Gurovich, of Parlin; grandchildren, Angela Moscarelli, Gina Moscarelli and Peter Bonicker; and great grandchildren, Devin Moscarelli, Colby Bonicker and Jonathan Bonicker.

Funeral services were private under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.
