Elinore Williams passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Saint Joseph's Senior Home in Woodbridge, NJ. She was 100 years old.

Born in New Haven, CT on October 2, 1921 to the late Florence and Joseph Grohman, she resided in Staten Island before becoming a resident of Saint Joseph's in 2013.

Mrs. Williams was employed as an administrative assistant for most of her life.

She was devoted to her Catholic faith; and an avid reader.

In addition to her parents, Elinore was predeceased by her husband, Charles, in 1996; daughter, Anne Marie Gabrielle, in 2012; and grandson in law, Richard Dell 'Anno.

Surviving are her children, Charlene Lenning of Tinton Falls, NJ and Charles Williams of Glen Gardner, NJ; brother, Thomas Gilroy, of Staten Island; grandchildren, Cathleen Dell 'Anno, Matthew Lenning, Erin Melfi and Jessica Avallone; and great grandchildren, Matthew, Joseph, Cassie, Michael, Anthony "AJ", and Christina.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Saint Joseph's Senior Home, 3 Saint Joseph's Terrace, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 in Mrs. Williams' memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
