Eleanor Pagliuca of the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township passed away on January 17, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ; she has resided in Port Reading, NJ for the past sixty-five years.

A woman of constant action, Eleanor loved to gather with her family on the beach in Cape May, NJ or around the pool, dishing out assorted goodies and laughing and joking as the kids played around her.  She was a loving Nana to her nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Eleanor was an outstanding cook, who embraced her husband's Italian heritage and enjoyed producing impressive meals for her family . She also worked for 25 years preparing food for teachers and students at Woodbridge High School, where she was known for her humor and kindness.

She was a communicant of St. Anthony's R.C. Church in Port Reading.

Mrs. Pagliuca was predeceased by her beloved husband Carmen V. Pagliuca in 2018 and her brothers Arthur and George and sister Ruth.

Eleanor leaves behind her five children, her daughter Marie and four sons.  Michael and his wife Maureen, John and his wife Holly, Jeffrey and his wife Nancy, and James and his wife Catherine. Eleanor (Nana) is also survived by her nine grandchildren; Michael and his wife Corinne, Jennifer and her husband Davin, Vanessa and her husband David, Nicholas and his wife Amanda, Danielle and her husband Joseph, Anthony and his wife Kaitlyn, Joseph, Nicole and her husband Jon and Allison.   Eleanor is also survived by her nine great grandchildren; Brianna, Lainee, Harry, Marissa, Matteo, Olivia, Giovanni, Juliana and Nico and many loving  nieces and nephews.

A 11:00 am Funeral Liturgy will take place on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, 436 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading, NJ 07064. Entombment will be immediately following at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Anthony of Padua Church in Port Reading, NJ.
