Elaine Pampinto of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014 at home. She was 86 years old. Born in Williamsport, PA; She resided in Roselle Park before moving to Avenel in 1976. Mrs. Pampinto was employed as an Administrative Assistant for The Woodbridge Township Health Department for 25 years retiring in 2008. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Raritan Chapter in South River, and served in the Civil Air Patrol many years ago. She was predeceased by her first husband William Horace LaRoc who passed away in 1958 and her second husband James Pampinto who passed away in 1988; a grandson Clinton Priliszh who passed away in 2007. She is survived by her son Salvatore R. Pampinto and his wife Maureen of Port Reading; two daughters Lizette Priliszh and her husband Ronald of Roselle Park, and Michele Silverman and her husband Zack of Davie, Florida; two brothers David Smith of Florida, and Walter Smith, Jr. of Virginia; two sisters Marlene DeThuin and Diane Stiwell both of Florida; five Grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral will take place Friday 10:00 a.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (www.Costello-koyen.com) 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Interment will be in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. The Order of Eastern Star will hold services Thursday evening at 8:00 p.m.
