Elaine P. Feldman passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 5, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at home in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township. She was 93 years old.

Born on October 26, 1928 in Newark to the late Pearl Schnatz and Edward Henderson, she has resided in Avenel since 1953.

Mrs. Feldman was employed as a claims adjuster with Motors Insurance Corporation, a division of General Motors, in Newark and Somerset for over 40 years before retiring in 1988.

She was a communicant of Saint Andrew Roman Catholic Church, Avenel; and belonged to Evergreen Seniors and Colonia Seniors. Elaine loved bowling, playing cards, trips to casinos and above everything else, spending time with family.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Edward Thomas Feldman, Sr. in 2002; stepfather, Paul Schnatz, in 1987; and grandson, Edward Thomas Feldman III, in 2009.

Surviving are her children, Patricia (Richard) Anzivino of Woodbridge, Edward T. (Susan) Feldman, Jr.  of Avenel and Richard P. (Peggy) Feldman of Bloomington, IL; grandchildren, Richard Feldman, Sarah Phillips and Rachel Brize; and great grandchildren, Laila, Eve, Dorian, Mackenzie, Nathan, James and Clint.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) or Ronald MacDonald House (rmhc.org) in Elaine's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.

Mrs. Feldman's family wishes to acknowledge both Haven Hospice and JFK Hospital 4th Floor North and their staff for the care they provided during the difficult time of Elaine's illness.
