Eileen M. Cassidy's Obituary
Eileen M. Cassidy of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Saturday,
December 30, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital at Rahway. She was 98 years old.
Born in Jersey City, she was a lifelong resident of Avenel.
Mrs. Cassidy was employed as a key punch operator at General Motors in New York City and as a cafeteria worker with Woodbridge Township School District for many years.
She was a communicant of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel, and a member of Saint Andrew's Ladies Society.
She was predeceased by her Husband, Francis X. Cassidy in 1989; and a son, Gregg Cassidy, in 2013.
She is survived by 2 sons, Matthew Cassidy and his wife, Connie, of Clark and Timothy Cassidy and his wife, Kathleen, of Bethlehem, PA; six grandchildren, Kevin, Crystal, Thomas, Danielle and Timothy Cassidy and Erica Farago and her husband, Nathanial.
Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m at the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (costello-koyen.com), 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. The Funeral will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home, a Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.
