Obituary

Edward Patrick Reddy of the Fords section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at home.   He was 83 years old.

Born in Philadelphia, PA; He resided in Fords for the past 46 years.

Mr. Reddy was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.

He was a Graduate of Drexel University.

He was employed as a Production Superintendent with U.S. Gypsum in Philadelphia and Jersey City, Celotex in Perth Amboy, and Flint Coat in Jersey City.

Mr. Reddy was a Communicant of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church in Fords, and a member of the Woodbridge American Irish Association.

He was predeceased by his wife Lorraine Rheinwalt Reddy who passed away in 2006; a sister Margaret Ann Daly; two brothers John Reddy and Daniel Reddy.

He is survived by six daughters Margaret Antonowicz and her husband James of Fords, Patricia Minucci and her husband Joseph of Bayville, Lorraine Brizak and her husband George of South Plainfield, Kathleen Reddy of Fords, Helen Buckney and her husband Rick of Washington Township, NJ, and Maureen Clausen of Edison; a son Patrick Reddy and his wife Stacy of Duval, Washington; two sisters Pat Krott and her husband Don of Woodbury, NJ, and Mary Piselle and her husband Jack of Havertown, PA; a brother Peter Reddy and his wife Lynn of Florida; two sister-in-law's Faith Reddy and Juli Reddy; twelve grandchildren James Edward Antonowicz and his wife Amanda, Joey Brandao, Rosie Brizak, Patricia McAdams, Richard Sheedy and his wife Kelly, Stephanie Brizak, Michael Ferraro, Kailey Bostic, Nicholas Clausen, Matthew Minucci, Patrick Reddy, and Ciara Reddy; two great-granddaughters; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins

A funeral liturgy will take place Tuesday, October 11, 2016 11:00 a.m. at Saint Claire and St. Michael R.C. Church, 313 Memorial Avenue, Gibbstown, NJ 08027 NJ. Interment will be in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Park, Wrightstown, NJ.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Claire's and St. Michaels R.C. Church, 313 Memorial Avenue, Gibbstown, NJ 08027.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
