Edward H. Lonyai passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. He was 72 years old.

Born in Orange, he has resided in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township since 1977.

Mr. Lonyai was employed by Mack Camera in Springfield for many years. He belonged to Temple Emanu-El in Edison where he had served as president of the Men's Association.

He was also active with the Boy Scouts, serving as district commissioner for the Raritan Bay District.

Surviving are his wife, Elaine Tweedus; children, Barry Lonyai of Woodbridge and Jennifer Lonyai of North Brunswick; and beloved grandson, Christopher Lonyai.

Ed was laid to rest beside his parents in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.

Funeral services were entrusted to Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.
