Edward "Timmy" Burke passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at his home in Woodbridge. He was 59 years old.

He was born in Elizabeth and a lifelong resident of Woodbridge.

Mr. Burke was employed at Piscataway Technical High School as a maintenance worker for 17 years before retiring earlier this year.

He was predeceased by his wife, Emmalynn Thiel Burke in 2010; his father Eugene Burke; and a brother, Thomas Burke.

Surviving are his son, Thomas Joseph Burke; mother, Bernice Burke, of Plymouth, PA; sister, Maureen Osborne and her husband, Patrick, of Etters, PA; brother, Eugene Burke and his wife, Maryann, of Anchorage, AK; and granddaughter, Cali Burke.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street in Woodbridge on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m.
