Edith Kardos of Woodbridge passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Venetian Care Center in South Amboy. She was 88 years Old.
Born in Hungary; She resided in Woodbridge most of her life.
Mrs. Kardos was a member of The John Calvin Hungarian Reformed Church of Woodbridge and a member of the Lorantffy Guild at the Church.
She was predeceased by her husband John Kardos who passed away in 1999; her parents Andrew and Frances Vitanyi Bartos; a sister Frances Kara; two brothers Joseph Bartus and Andrew Bartus.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Gaetano and her husband Thomas of Freehold; a sister Julia Dorko of Port Reading; two brothers Daniel Bartus of Edison and Lester Bartus of Edison; two grandchildren Thomas John Gaetano and his wife Andrea and Gabrielle Gaetano.
Funeral will take place Friday, August 25, 2017 9:30 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home ( www.Costello-greiner.com ) 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A 10:00 service will follow at The John Calvin Hungarian Reformed Church in Woodbridge. Interment will be in Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to The John Calvin Hungarian Reformed Church 94 North James Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
