Dorothy M Sheehan of Edison passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Care One at The Highlands.  She was 89 years old.

Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania; She resided in Elizabeth, Colonia and Florida; before moving to Edison 33 years ago.

She was a Graduate of Batton High School in Elizabeth; and was a longtime Communicant of Holy Family R.C. Church in Linden.

Mrs. Sheehan was employed as a clerk with Purolator in Rahway for 12 years and Linden Bulk Freight for 15 years before retiring in 200.

She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Anna Slovaink Harchar.

Surviving are her children Lisa Kraft and her husband Cliff and James Sheehan and his wife Gena; her sister Barbara Esposito; and her four grandchildren Clifford, R. Kraft, III and his wife Jessica Kraft., Leighann, James, III, and Julianne.

Funeral will take place Friday, May 9, 2025 9:15 am from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel.  A 10:00am Funeral Liturgy will take place at Holy Family R.C. Church, 210 Monroe Street, Linden, NJ.  Entombment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
