Dorothy Rebovich Pavlak, 90 of Iselin was welcomed into the loving arms of God on March 21, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Perth Amboy to Peter and Elizabeth McKeon Rebovich, and graduated from Perth Amboy High School as a member of the National Honor Society in 1942. Dorothy was an avid swimmer and tennis player. She worked for Johnson & Johnson during WW II, and then General Cable before her final career as a loving mother. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Genevieve Notaro. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 64 years, William, her son, William Jr. of Iselin, and daughters, Nancy Klein (Kevin) of Pittstown, NJ, Dr. Jayne Pavlak-Schenk (Robert) of Colts Neck, NJ, Suzanne of Philadelphia, Pa., her sister Claire Antosiewicz, and former daughter-in-law, Lee Ann Pavlak. Six grandchildren survive her: Jordan and Meghan Klein, Jessica Schenk Eastman, Jenna, Jacquelyn and Jonathan Schenk and a great-grandson, Jackson Liam Eastman. She was loved and will be greatly missed by her devoted caretaker, Zalina. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 25th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www.costello-greiner.com) 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, March 26th, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home; a Mass of Resurrection will follow at 11:15 a.m. at St. Cecelia's Catholic Church, Iselin. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund (curealz.org).
