Dorothy Louise Merrifield of Woodbridge passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.   She was 93 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy on August 7, 1930; She resided in Woodbridge for the past 42 years.

She was predeceased by her husband William Merrifield who passed away in 1996; and her parents Stephen Decker and Louise Lesczynski Decker.

She is survived by her daughter Dorothy Pilesky and her husband William of Fords and her son William Merrifield of Woodbridge; 2 grandchildren William Pilesky and George Pilesky and his wife Ashley; a great-grandchild Georgia Pilesky;  her niece Louann Szymborki; and a great-nephew Eddie Szymborski.

Funeral services will take place Tuesday, November 7, 2023 10:30 am at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.  Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Perth Amboy.

Visiting hours will be Monday, November 6, 2023 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
