Dorothy Mazza passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at her home in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township. She was 88 years old. Born in Evansville, Indiana, she resided in Elizabeth before moving to Colonia 57 years ago. Mrs. Mazza was employed as a tester with Western Electric in Clark for 15 years prior to her retirement. She was a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church. Mrs. Mazza was predeceased by her devoted husband, Frank Mazza, in 2000. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Mazza, of Colonia; two sons, Kenneth Mazza and his wife, Cindy, of Woodbridge and Daniel Mazza and his wife, Sandra, of Colonia; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Andrew and Alexandra; and two great grandchildren, Penelope and Kelly; many nieces and nephews including her nephew John Spond. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 9:45 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Entombment will be in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
