Dorothy Bukofsky entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 80 years old. Born in Perth Amboy, she has resided in Woodbridge since 1955. Mrs. Bukofsky was a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Bukofsky, in 2007; and a brother, Francis Kish. She is survived by a daughter, Lori Kessell, and her husband, Michael, of Fords; two sons, Michael Bukofsky and his wife, Debora, of Woodbridge and Joseph Bukofsky and his wife, Teri Ellen, of Woodbridge; grandchildren, Jayson, Heather and Jessica Bukofsky, Melissa and Robert Marzella, Meghan Bukofsky, Kathleen and Christopher Krupa, Jennifer and Ryan Furner and Michael, Alicia and Katherine Kessell; and great grandchildren, Jordan, Alexis, Logan, Kolton, Kaidence and Christopher. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00 until 4:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
