Obituary

Doris Dunn Narkum of Carteret passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in Rahway. She was 59 years old.

Born in Staten Island, NY, she was raised in the Sewaren section of Woodbridge Township and resided in Carteret for the past 15 years.

She was employed as a Crossing Guard for the Boro of Carteret for many years and an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of The Woodbridge American Legion Unit #87.

Doris enjoyed spending time at the beach in Manasquan. She loved being around friends and family, and was affectionaly known as 'Aunt Dor' by many friends of the family. She especially loved spending time with her daughter Krystle and grandson Aiden.

She was predeceased by her parents William Dunn and Yoko Murakami Dunn.

She is survived by a Daughter Krystle Amundson of Carteret; a Grandson

Aiden James Nils Amundson; Wayne Amundson, Dawn Amundson; Sisters, Pattie Kowitski and Mark Napowanetz of Manchester; Joyce DiNardo and Neil Goodheart of Sewaren; Brothers Michael Dunn and Renai Dunn of Pennsylvania, Danny Dunn and Pat Dunn of Port Reading. Beloved Aunt of Jason DiNardo and Derek DiNardo of Sewaren, Danny Dunn of Avenel and Amanda Dunn of California; Great Nephews, Logan and Dylan DiNardo, Noah Dunn and Great Niece, Skyla DiNardo.

A funeral service will take place Wednesday evening 8:30 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www. Costello-greiner.com) 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
