Donna L. Prokop passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Center for Hope Hospice, Scotch Plains. She was 61 years old.

Born in Rahway, she was raised in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township and has resided in Rahway for 33 years.

Mrs. Prokop was employed as a supervisor with HMS Host in Port Reading and also worked as a barmaid at Colonia Memorial Post 6061, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Colonia.

She was predeceased by her husband, John G. Prokop, in 2002; and parents, Anne and Walter Hanks.

Surviving are her brother, Walter Hanks, and his wife, Jane, of Avenel; and nieces, Danielle Hanks and her fiancé, Michael Magda and Kimberly Torstrup and her husband, James.

Funeral services were private under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Colonia Memorial Post 6061, Veterans of Foreign Wars, 606 Inman Avenue, Colonia, NJ 07067 in Donna's memory would be greatly appreciated.
