Donardo "Dapper Dan" Pacelli of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at The New Jersey Veterans Home at Menlo Park. He was 86 years old.

Born in Newark, NJ; He resided in Avenel since 1970.

Mr. Pacelli was a 1949 Graduate of West Side High School in Newark and served in The United States Army Veteran during the Korean War.

Mr. Pacelli loved music and played the trumpet in both a band and orchestra.

He was employed in the Garment Industry his entire career and was employed by Liz Claiborne for 30 years retiring in 2004.

He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Michelina Romano Pacelli; two Sisters Carmela Dombroski and Josephine Fedele; two   brothers Joseph Pacelli and Anthony Pacelli.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years Rose Sabia Pacelli; his loving children Kimberly Pacelli of Avenel, and Daniel Pacelli and his wife Aileen of Colonia; his two grandsons whom he adored Nicholas Pacelli, and Sean Pacelli; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will take place Thursday, December 8, 2016 10:00 a.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (www.Costello-koyen.com) 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, NJ.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
