Dolores Hahn of the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.  She was 89 years old.

Born in Newark, she has resided in Port Reading since 1966.

She was employed with Bamberger's and Squibb, but her greatest achievement was being a homemaker for her family. She was a great cook and an excellent baker.

Mrs. Hahn was a communicant of Saint Anthony's R.C. Church in Port Reading and was a very active member of The Don Bosco Columbiettes, where she was a former president and The Woodbridge American Irish Association, where she was named Irish Woman of the year, as well as a member of The Red Hatters and The Port Reading Seniors.  She loved her visits to Atlantic City and playing Bingo.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Donald J. Hahn, in 2003; daughter, Linda Bartus, in 2016; parents, Rudolph and Rose McGonagle Trocan; brother, Rudolph Trocan; and sisters, Joan Sammataro and Rose Marie Krowl.

Surviving are her daughter Jody O'Connor and her husband, Brian, of Carteret; son, Donald J. Hahn, Jr.; a son-in-law Daniel Bartus, Jr. of Port Reading; sisters, Patricia Catena of Middletown and Geraldine Prosetti of Newark; brother, Richard Trocan of Florida; grandchildren Danielle and her husband Edward, Paul, Katie Rose and her husband James, Shawn and her husband Joseph, Matthew, Justin, and Ryan; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Anthony's R.C. Church in Port Reading. Entombment will be at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
