Diane Forman passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold. She was 90 years old.

Born in Brooklyn, NY on January 28, 1936, to the late Pauline and Irving Bernsohn, she had resided in Red Bank for 24 years.

Diane was employed as an executive secretary for AT&T Corporation in Holmdel for 10 years prior to her retirement in 1998.

She was an avid Mahjong player.

In addition to her parents, Diane was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Forman, in 1997; and brother, Jerry Bernsohn, in 2018.

Surviving are her children, Beth Van Handel and her husband, Donald, of Matawan, NJ, and Mitchel Hyman of Washington, DC; grandchildren, Jessica Dunbar and her husband, Maclean and Adam Van Handel and his wife, Alaina; and beloved great grandchildren, Maeve, Sigrid and Isabel.

A gathering will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.
