Diana R. Poolet-Sorentino passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 64 years old.

Born in Elizabeth, she has resided in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township for many years.

Mrs. Poolet-Sorentino was employed as a licensed practical nurse at Woodbridge Developmental Center for 32 years; and also worked a second job in the area.

She was predeceased by her parents, Bernice and Roger Poolet.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, David Sorentino; child of the heart, Amad; and many loving friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:15 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, North Madison Avenue, Avenel. Cremation will be private. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
