Dennis V. Witter passed away peacefully on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 75 years old.

Born in Paterson, he has resided in Woodbridge for 50 years.

Mr. Witter retired from JF Hillebrand Company in Rahway as an export coordinator in 2004 and had previously worked with Lockheed-Martin Corporation for many years.

He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War; an avid New York Yankee and New York Met baseball fan; and enjoyed singing in his younger days.

Mr. Witter was predeceased by his father, Walter Witter; stepfather, Harvey Woodton; and sister, Donna Ingram.

Surviving are his wife of nearly 50 years, Loretta Wilson Witter; son, Juan L. Tracy Witter; Mother, Aimee Woodton; and sister, Sharyn Woodton-Durham.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home ( www.costello-greiner.com ), 44 Green Street in Woodbridge .
