Denise Kelly O'Brien passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the New Jersey Veterans Home at Menlo Park. She was 91 years old.

Born in Bayonne, she resided in Woodbridge for the past 56 years.

Mrs.O'Brien was employed at Park Travel Services in Scotch Plains for many years before retiring.

She was a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge; and belonged to B.P.O.E Elks Lodge 2116 in Woodbridge.

Mrs. O'Brien was predeceased by her husbands Andrew J. Kelly, Jr. and Cornelius Joseph O'Brien; and her brother, Robert Lehman.

Surviving are her children, Sharyn (Kelly) Lehmann and her husband, Frank, of Port Reading, Andrew Kelly III and his wife, Lillian, of Brick, Richard Kelly and his wife, Nancy, of Syracuse, NY and Linda (Kelly) St. Marie and her husband, Paul, of Port Reading; two sisters Lois Schick of South Hampton, and Carole Huylebroeck of Glassboro; and a brother Charles Lehman of Scotch Plains; her grandchildren, Frank III, Kelly, Andrew IV, Bryan and his wife Julie, Kevin, Paul, Brianna and Jordan; and great grandchildren, Ava, Dylan and Jacob.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 9:45 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home.
