Obituary

Debra A.  Grant Casano of the Fords section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at home.   She was 57 years old.   Debbie was born in Elizabeth, NJ and resided in Iselin before moving to Fords 30 years ago.   She was a 1983 Graduate of Colonia High School and completed a business course from The Cittone Institute.   Debbie was employed as a procurement analyst with Johnson & Johnson in Raritan for 18 years.

Debbie was a loving mother that put her all into helping with every school project, after school activity, field trips, and being a class mom.  Taking care of her kids was her most important priority.  She loved her husband and her children more than anything on this Earth.   Debbie and her husband Anthony met at Kontiki in Fords, from that point forward, they did everything together, she was the rock of her family.   Debbie also loved going for motorcycles rides and long trips on the motorcycle with her husband and friends.  She loved to laugh and instantly connected with and befriended many people who found her easy to confide in.     She was easy to talk to and had the most vibrant, infectious laugh and the warmest personality.  She loved to spend days at the beach in the warm sand with the sun on her skin.  Debbie will always be remembered for her laughter, creativity, helpfulness, and overall compassion for others.

She was predeceased by her father Randall Grant and mother-in-law Alice Casano.  She is survived by her husband of 31 years Anthony Joseph Casano II, a daughter Alexandria Lynn Casano, a son Anthony Joseph Casano III; her mother Alice Grant; her father-in-law Anthony Joseph Casano; her brother Robert Grant; her sisters-in-law Stacie Grant, Kathleen Sarno and Barbara Lee; her brothers-in-law Charles Sexton and Cory Lee; her nieces Nicole Sadusk, Toni Sarno, Christina Mcqueeney, Brittany Lee, Brooke Sadusk, Bella Grant, and Brooke Grant; her nephews Cory Lee Jr., Michael Mcqueeney, Giovane Suarez, and Blake Sadusk; and her sweet boy that was loved like a grandson, Patrick Thomas Sherry.
